Just keep checking. I just finished this scenario last night. Do the other tasks first, if you haven’t done then yet, and keep checking the market. I had first a female show up and once I had her set up in her habitat, the male showed up. But you need CCs for them, so I had to release a few more animals to get enough to buy him.
