Liopleurodon's model

Why does it look like a crocodile? I hope we can get a model which resemble its usual impression.

Also I hope we get more Pliosauridae species, especially bigger ones like Kronosaurus.

I never understood why people expect accuracy from a hollywood movie Product. Beside of that when it comes to extinct animals from 100 million years ago. Its speculative. Look at the hippotamus skeleton then watch the real animal. Amazing. I mean trex looks nothing like a real trex either. Watch the Sue recreation .

No... but Frontier is clearly intent on following some of the design philosophy of the movie series... which means exaggerated and unrealistic designs should be expected...
Except that it doesn't really. JP had mostly accurate-at-the-time designs with mostly plausible artistic flourishes. Showing new science the general public had never even heard of. There are of course some outliers such as Dilophosaurus, JP3 Pteranodon and maybe the JP3 raptors. But they ere pretty good for their time. Some were even cutting edge science, such as Spinosaurus.
JW changed this and ignored most new science and went back in time to create retro designs from before JP. With some notable scientific updates such as Pteranodon crest, apatosaurus nostrils and baby trike horns.

The Liopleurodon is just, wrong. It just makes it look like a weird crocodile. A completely unrelated animal. So instead of making a Liopleurodon that looks like a pliosaur except cooler with artistic flourishes and more distinct. They just made it look like a generic misshapen croc. Although I suppose you could argue that it follows a similar design aesthetic as Baryonyx and just making it look like a generic croc for no reason. But then the Baryonyx doesn't really fit with any of the film designs either.

The Liopleurodon is really one of the worst designs in the game. (Don't get me wrong, I really like most of the game and many designs from the first game were also improved. I really love that most theropods hold their wrists correctly now)

The WWD design is copyrighted by the BBC, Frontier can't use it or anything too similar.

Beside of that when it comes to extinct animals from 100 million years ago. Its speculative.
only thats special WWD Design of course , by the other side is based on the new Paleaontologic studies ,and use this studies is not a copyright Problem, and the Liopleurodon in WWD is very to big and Liopleurodon (not each Pliosaur) was araound 6m

Speculative is not a Problem, unreal is a Problem :) for a hunting Big Marine Animal is the biggest Factor for a effective hunting underwater a extrem streamlined Design without each Horns (seeing the Elasmosaur) ,Spikes, Scales (seeing Orca, or Basilosaurus or Ichthyosaurs) , thats a real physical Thing and not speculativ and JP was a Step more realistic as the later JW (thats most very terrible like the Pterosaurs) with his Monster Designs, its Jurassic (better Mesozoic) Park and not Fantasy Park and the most people thinking thats the designs all correct. For the Liopleurodon is more speculative the color (otherside not many Colors and Skins brings a positive effect for a Submarine Predator),the Muscular Mass and have the Pliosaur a Tailfin ? and in what for a Form
