List max jump range you have managed per ship

UNLADEN maximum range of ships

Curious as to what is possible, could you list the best you have managed ?

Can we have :
1.Ship
2.Unladen best range it had
3.Fuel tank size. Please don't go lower than half the max fuel tank allowed on it,so we can relate jump range to a decent total range :)
4.How much more it has/had in it(if you could upgrade/downgrade the modules) , but you didn't get the module to test(your best guesstimate)

I'll start with 2 I know
hauler, 39LY, 4t, had more in it (i know someone who has got over 45,will find him) :)
Type-6, 43.03LY, 8t, I probably had another 1/2 LY(couldn't find the downgrade I wanted)

Numbers are RANGE,FUEL TANK SIZE,and how much more you think it had in it

Sidewinder : 27 LY , ??? , ??? (Dr Wookie)
Eagle :26.91 LY,???,has more in her(Byrt Makklin)
Viper :
Cobra : 31.9 LY, ??? , all D4 gear (Comrade Napoleon)
Hauler : 46.20 LY,2t,has a bit more (Andon)
Type-6 : 43.03 LY,8t(I think), could find another 1/2LY if I had modules (Dognosh)
ASP :
Type-9 :
Anaconda :

I just did the Buckyball Run #5, so I stripped my ship (the Hawzabautchee) down a fair bit.)

Here's her profile before I removed weapons and kill warrant scanner -

Ship Type: Eagle
Ship Specs: PP E2, Thrusters D3, FSD D3, PD D2
Jump range: 23.76 (Unladen)

She's now - without weapons and kill scanner - sitting on a range of 26.91LY unladen. (29.05LY) it says on my screen... Am I being too conservative? :eek:

go to fitting, see if your fuel tank class is at max allowed, if yes then find a tank half the size, put that in, take weapons out, and look on the right for unladen range, then come here :)
for now your eagle goes in list :cool:

PP F4, Thrusters G4 , FSD E4, PD D3 ,Sensors E1, Shield Generator G4, 16 tonne Fuel tank.

I've seen a D4 FSD but didn't enough to buy it (around 1.6 million credits) and could cut it down to an 8 tonnes fuel tank, so I think there's at least another 3ly in it. Just out of interest, do cargo racks count towards mass? Fully laden range (44 tonnes) 19.48 ly.

no, cargo racks weight 0 :D
In an 8t tank and a D4 I reckon you got 12 more at least :cool:

I've managed to get a Hauler to 46.20 ly range, and it looks like I can improve it.

This is my ship's loadout from when it was 40ish ly range. Modification I made was to drop the thrusters down to a "G" class, and I'm now looking for a "G" class power plant, life support, and sensors.

Incidentally, I'm using so little of my power (28%), I've been looking for a Size 1 Power Plant to save even more on mass. Has anyone even SEEN a Size 1 Power Plant for a hauler?

I wondering if I could drop in a class 3 PP? The figures suggest it's got more than enough power and it's a few tonnes less mass.

LP 48-567, they also sell advanced scanner(remember, it is random whether there is a supply of it or not)

I had a sidey with 27 light year unladen jump range. I can't remember details, as I got it while testing out something to do with a ticket I sent to FD

Further tweaks to the hauler yielded a range of 46.71 empty. This is with a class G Power Plant, class G Thrusters, and the rest as I posted previously. I posted some thoughts in a thread of mine, speculating that I can possibly get about 47.6-47.75ish ly out of it, tops (Unless things turn out being lighter than I expected)

UP WE GO! This is a useful bit of information that I think we should work on finishing. If it remains unfinished until I get back to my collection of ships I'll contribute, but until then I'm useless.
