List of CG decals?

Back when CGs first started offering decals as a reward, I trotted off to a CG and got myself the the "Combat Zone" decal (in gold) for mindlessly murdering hordes of puny NPCs.

After that, I rather lost track.

So, what's the full list of CG-related decals that are available?
The "Combat Zone" decal looks pretty nifty on my combat ships and it'd be nice if there were similar ones to stick on my trade ships or mining ships etc.


Also, while I'm at it, it'd still be nice if FDev offered Player-Faction decals as rewards in CGs proposed by PFs.
Part of the request process for a CG could involve asking the PF to provide a simple, monochrome, design for a decal and then it could be awarded to participants of the CG.

Surely it wouldn't be too much of an effort to knock together a monochrome decal?
Even if FDev only produced them, say, once every 3 months, it'd probably only take somebody a couple of hours to cobble them together from the submitted designs.

There used to be gold, silver and white decals. From memory there were CGs for CZs, Bounty Hunting, Salvage, Trade and Mining.

Recently they introduced emissive decals for the top 10% pushing the original decals down one tier. The emissives come in blue (imperial), red (federal) and white (alliance, maybe independent) and which one you get depends on the faction hosting the CG. I think there have been CZ, Bounty and Trade CGs so far. You'll have to go through the recent CG history to find out which factions have been offering those.

Either way explorers have still been left out in the cold and dark.

I loved the CG Decal rewards. I especially love the Wolves of Jonai decal and fly it on all my ships. I wish we would get them for major story events like the Nova Imperium Battle or Distant Worlds mining and bounty hunting initiatives. Unfortunately there was a very loud minority that trashed them and Fdev quit doing them.

As of now the only ones that come to mind are the Wolves of Jonai and two seperate ones for combat and trade/salvage.

Don't forget the emissive decals! Otherwise, I lost track of them. IIRC I got the BH, CZ, Trade and Salvage ones, but as I don't fit them anyway (except Holo-Me which sports both beta tester decals), I don't care much and simply forgot.

Are we saying that, aside from unique decals which were awarded for specific CGs, there are a total of FOUR different types of generic CG decals; CZ, Bounty-Hunting, Salvage and Trade - each of which is available in regular, bronze, silver, gold and emissive?

I'm just wondering if there are sufficient different CG decals that I can use them as "fleet insignia" for some of my different types of ships.

I have a group of decals called "billionaire's club", i got it from a trade cg, most probably. That's my only cg specific decal type, do all cg decals have custom names?

The only Colonia CG to grant a decal so far was a Research CG in Coeus - bring specified raw materials. I doubt there's anything about the Colonia "type" other than "it's in or near the Colonia system", and that decal could equally apply in future to a trade or mining CG out here.

Frontier generally adds a picture of at least one version of the decal to any awarding CG - if you go to the Features of Elite > Community Goals > Archives forum and click on the ones which say "with decals" there's usually a picture in there.

Frontier generally adds a picture of at least one version of the decal to any awarding CG - if you go to the Features of Elite > Community Goals > Archives forum and click on the ones which say "with decals" there's usually a picture in there.

The CG forum, for me, tends to be a baffling place unless you're actually involved in CGs (a bit like the PP forum) but I'll give it a look.

Do the BH ones come from any BH CG? Or was it a certain one?

Edit: Nevermind, looking at the CG archive I see the titles are marked for ones that have the decal. Guess it's time to start paying attention again.
