List of Oculus Rift DK2 settings for ED

As the release of ED is approaching I think it would be nice to have a list of ED settings with certain set-ups for newcomers or just new rift users, so they don't need to ask around for the settings for their rig.
This topic would summarize users/players experience and spare new kids from hours of settings tweaking, searching and anger.

Keep in mind, that as new patches are released performance and settings may change for each individual setup, so updating this post will be a task for everyone who contributes.

I'll keep this post updated as much as possible to current game version.

Also keep in mind, as the game stands now, you have to manualy edit your IPD <IPDAmount>0.062600</IPDAmount> (this is for IPD 62.6mm, be sure to put in right amount of decimal places) value after every graphic setting change directly in setting file. (C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Graphics\Settings.xml)
It now reads your IPD from the oculus config so you don't need to bother with that. I've tried different amounts there it had no effect.

I changed the model draw distance to 50% and found it helped frame rates in the asteroid fields. Didn't have any noticeable effects elsewhere except you don't see the inside of the stations until you get closer to the keyhole.

pc specs in sig.
