Besides the alien wreck I notice many people are posting videos of wrecks they have found on random planets. Can we get a list going of know wrecks? Also, can you harvest the metals because I visited one location today only to discover the wreck was gone and a small structure was in its place (got a trespass warning when I got close). Also any tips on funding wrecks would be appreciated--would a surface scanner help?

Near as I can tell there are two types of wreck sites: the random blue circle Point of Interest (POI) types that disappear (and can only be found by SRV), and "permanent" ones that can be found by ship. There's a "permanent" Anaconda wreck on Merope 5C near the early barnacle sites (coords here http://elite-dangerous.wikia.com/wiki/Alien_Structure). There used to be a barnacle right in the Anaconda wreckage but it's since disappeared. The wreck had a scannable data core in it.
