List of suggestions to improve QoL and Player enjoyment of the game.

I have come across quite a few issues since purchasing this title, and while I enjoy many aspects of ED I end up being quite disappointed (and extremely frustrated) by others. Mostly it comes down to efficiency of gameplay and the misappropriate tedious decisions made to make the game un-impressive.

Here is a summarized list of QoL improvements to encourage players to vary up their gameplay, or be more compelled to enjoy the currently "monotonous" and "dull" implements currently in the game.

1- During planetary/moon landings and orbital/glide piloting there needs to be a simple and basic COMPASS OVERLAY on the radar pointing to the planetary body POLAR NORTH. Not all ships are carrying Detailed surface scanners, and even if they were some planetary/moon bodies that do not have any points of interest to guide the pilot to their destination. SRVs would be easier to correct direction if accidently getting popped in the air from a tiny rock or being spun around like a top on slippery surface dust. A compass overlay only requires a noticeable red arrow for polar North and basic small lines for South, East, and West directions. It would make it MUCH easier for players to align with the co-ordinates we want to get to or follow.

2- Bounty hunting/massacre missions should be allowed to stack enemy count across the board. As to why you decided to make something less efficient and mind numbingly tedious I could never understand. Take into account the following problems. Players only get 24 or less hours to complete a non-wing CZ massacre mission of 70 ships (have the mission available right now), as well as multiple other non-wing missions from the same board for the exact same faction. One is for 48, another is for 20, another is for 30 or so...
Because missions kills can't be stacked, the player is unable (and unwilling) to do multiples of that mission because its low reward vs time investment ratio.

I have many other game titles that did not make such a poor decision to prevent stacking of "kill xx mob xx times to complete" quests because they understand EFFICIENCY and players that try to be EFFICIENT in their gameplay. "Work SMART, not HARD."

Also take into consideration, it would encourage players to do more of said missions because players go where the credits are at while having fun. Right now, everyone is mining high quality materials because it is the most direct source of high income to be able to afford many of the items needed in the game. Don't nerf mining/economy as it is now! Doing mass transport missions is mostly obsolete in the face of this as well as BH/Hunting Missions because of the amount of gameplay time a player has to "invest" to gain a much smaller reward.

If BH/massacre missions can be stacked (instead of individual counts for individual missions) the player would receive a much better reward ratio because they'd save the amount of time they'd have to invest for an increased reward wouldn't be ridiculous. If a player has 30 bounties/combat vouchers and completes a mission for 30 but has another mission for 70 of the same faction, they would still only be receiving the voucher reward on top of the mission rewards as total of 70 vouchers because that is the maximum amount of ships they would require to complete the highest quantity of enemies for missions.

The way these missions are run now, they're more trouble than they're WORTH. It should be at least reasonably competitive enough in mission rewards to compare to mining valuable materials. I'm looking at 23,590,000cr of conflict zone rewards across 8 available missions that the majority will go to waste (considering the timer deadline is all 20hrs and less instead of at least a week...) because of this. Considering a player has to survive CZ or lose gained vouchers + rebuy cost of their ship in case of getting destroyed, it's an utter imbalance of enjoyable gameplay due to lack of EFFICIENCY!

3- Planetary atmospheric conditions. I've heard this is something others have been suggesting as well, and I agree that there needs to be more atmosphere on planets/moons that can have them. Of course not ALL should have atmospheres/

4- Along with planetary atmospheric conditions, there needs to be more basic wildlife. Reptiles, insects, mammals, and plants similar to certain games like "spore" they'll be RNG adapted to their environment. This would open up to a whole new SRV gameplay function (and planetary mission set) that could be added which can include a... NET. >>>> Capture xx of insect life on xx planet in xx system. Kill xx of bird life on xx planet in xx system because they're damaging our crops...

5- PSVR, what needs to be done to have this implemented for the PlayStation 4 consoles? Some say it's because of PS4 basic is poor quality visually due to blurriness (many PS4 owners don't care, and some of us have PS4 pro), but that can be fixed/tweaked for compatibility later... considering how many glitches and bugs are still in this game that haven't been fixed in years but can be later... may as well do it anyway. VR is about immersion, and for PS4 basic can have some graphics tweaks (I'd recommend resolution reduction to no less that 1080p for the headset, increasing draw in/less detail for distant objects). If we need to petition Sony for VR implementation we'll do that as well.

6- all ships should have a dedicated collector limpet controller slot. How much fun is it cargo scooping up one item at a time after destroying an opponent bounty hunting or piracy? Even better yet! All those wonderful Conflict Zones and the gorgeous tons of rare material drops that you just don't have the time to drop your cargo scoop and going around manual picking up parts one at a time when you're in the middle of a ' combat zone!!!! Make collector limpets more durable... I can't name how many times I've sent out more than necessary limpets because the first one somehow ALWAYs manages to ram itself into the cargo hold on the first time!
