List Something You Love About PZ

Yeah, that isn't what I was saying.
Sorry, mixing up 2 comments on discord and this forum.
Don't even know when that last part was part of the discord discussion.
Long day at the office :D

"I think the species argument will stay for many years" is the only part that should've been in this thread.

Honestly it's still not totally relevant, because I wasn't saying it as a complaint, just as a general note. Aside from the fact that there are some species that aren't in the game and might not ever make it in, there isn't really anything I don't like about it. There are a few little quality of life changes I think could be made here and there (and I do wonder why my game keeps crashing upon exit - like, I save the game, hit 'quit game', and then it crashes? What?), but overall it's difficult to point to just one thing I love about Planet Zoo.

I love how the sounds change when you go into a cave, such an nice attention to detail. Also how the animals show as being wet, muddy and dry. The variations in their skins are a new favourite too.

And just the freedom, I used to have so many mods in zoo tycoon 2 to allow me to build off the grids and get a barrier/plants that looks half realistic and this game just allows unlimited creativity!

One thing I adore is the scenario maps, and the fact you can use them in sandbox or challenge mode too. The pre-made builds are just fantastic. My favorites are the Goodwin House, Meyers Lake Island Zoo, Meyers Animal Entertainment Park, and Yamaguchi Prefecture Tranquility Zoo. I also like the characters; Meyers really made you feel like the hero, when you gave all his animals better habitats and took all his zoos away from him. :sneaky:

A little detail that I love is how sunlight come through plants leaves, so realistic! I think beauty is the key to this type of games, they are not actually "funny", but let you make beautiful worlds you can walk through

Same here, btw it's a big detail when you take regular screenshots. Sunlight really adds that extra depth to screenshots :D

I only have one Zoo so far and have stuck to just the African animals for it. Tonight I saw my African Wild Dogs play with the chew toy for the first time. Completely derailed my thoughts and actions for a couple of minutes of just watching them play.

Great game.

That's for sure!

I absolutely love the advanced moving tool, and that we can put trees underground to create bushes. That is so frickin cool.

While I also love the advanced moving tool, that specific use actually bothers me - it's a workaround to an issue (lack of shrubs) that could be fixed (with more shrubs).

I love how the animals have a great deal of character. Like if you adopted an animal that has been abused, it has scars on its skin. And I also love the overall music and sound effects in the game, it has a really great way of sinking me into hours of playtime.

This doesn't have anything to do with Personality. But we should get real Animal Personalitys at some Point because they were advertised
