General / Off-Topic List the things you hate about your town!

I prefer to not state which town I live in, but here are a few things in general in my town that me off:

- White trash haven.

- Residential zones being close to noisy main avenues.

- Harley Davidson hooligans giving their bikes gas at 100% whenever the light turns green.

- Teenagers that have ricers with fart can exhausts.

- Slowpoke minivan drivers going 40 in an 80.

- Can't get a day without hearing news from the local PD that they arrested countless impaired drivers in one day.

- SJW's all over the place.

- Foreign investors from China.

- People in a big rush to get to the red light.

- And the grand finale: Animal-lover extremism--Saw a guy with a poodle on his lap taking up half the entire steering wheel and the car starts swerving all over the road. Cop gets on his tail to take a look, but then decides to not pull over the guy because the cop is likely an animal-loving extremist too!

What's yours?

Miserable git.

It is run by conservatives.

The council.

The hills, I walk everywhere.

A growing percentage of the population; can't say all of these people, because I don't know them.

If we have to talk about drivers. The way they HAVE to be the last across the lights; which can mean, the second car after they have changed to red. Orange in the UK, means it is time to stop, not drive faster.

This street.

Every single participant in this video, including the person making it, but especially the male copper who you can tell is a pretty bad egg.

This windowless building.

I live in Shrewsbury.

So I hate the traffic.
There's Two bypasses people! Stop going through the god damn town centre, just to come out the other side!

I hate the fact they're building new houses all the damn time. And they're just hideous new build copy and paste crap.

I hate my old neighbour. She used to call an ambulance every single day at 11pm, on the dot, sometines twice as day, but her record was 7 times in 24 hours.
There was never anything wrong with her, and she'd tell the ambulance crew to leaver her alone....!
If they didn't, she got abusive, and then the police came.

And I hate most of the people.

And I hate how slow my internet is.

Council is my pet hate including the county one, UK here. Local council decided to charge EVERY resident £5 a week just for living no matter the circumstances. County council has decided to cut £120 million from local councils budget meaning everything is going to hell.

On the whole even before Brexit West Sussex was going to hell so you can see why everyone got disillusioned by everything including the EU.

The City put a stop sign in my yard on a street that doesn't need one.

...And the grand finale: Animal-lover extremism--Saw a guy with a poodle on his lap taking up half the entire steering wheel...

I've got TWO dogs in my lap in the van with a German Shepherd head poking between the front seats! :)

The fact that they call it a city when it's actually a scruffy overblown market town....

The fact that the town centre smells faintly of beer, vomit and stale chips...

The fact that it's raining outside on my day off....

I'll just leave this here:

Yes I am having a bad day.

Don't hate anything about it. A bland generic London suburb, with nothing to get excited about but nothing to get worked up about either.

I don't know, honestly I like to live where I am, sometimes I move to another location for a few months, but I really don't hate anything any of the places :)

Oh well, i hate I'm not 20 anymore :D

I live in belfast...where does one even start?

I hate the troubles tourists who are bussed in to take pictures of where it all began.
I hate the law that tries to dictate how we should live and how we raise our children.
I hate the tribal politics dominated by religious divides.
I hate politically correct do gooders who try to tell us how offensive we are by flying flags outside our homes. We erect even more in defiance.
I hate the peace wall.
I hate our history.
I hate using the word hate...in a city well known fer hate ^

I already got friends and family in scotland...push comes to shove, its one possible bolthole if republicans get their way. Thing is, if sturgeon gets her way, scotland leaves the UK and stays in the EU...I voted out of the EU so all Im doing is choosing the lesser of two evils really.

Home is home m8...I love and hate it. Hate that the law is too soft and protects the criminal more than the victim which forces us to rely on more extreme forms of justice. Its a case of not liking the situation but it gets results whereas the police dont because nobody trusts them. I dunno, maybe it was getting the firemans hose at 3 in the morning through the cell door that turned me against them...or that time when me and my sister were told to watch as our dad was beaten into a coma in our living room because feeding us took priority over our 'protection payments' to the police that did it. I was very young and impressionable at the time and that certainly made a long lasting impression.

Ye dont really want people like me over there...trust me on this one. Best to keep all us undesirables in one place where our way of life has become ingrained into us from decades of police brutality and being dumped on by the establishment. I hate it here and yet here is all I know...I wouldnt last long anywhere else ^

I live in Nottingham and I hate that "Nottingham Castle" isn't a castle at all.

It's a posh house!

I also hated our local council's recent drive to punish the homeless...

Other than that it's a pretty nice, multicultural city. I think it's helped by having 2 universities, meaning there's a lot of investment & cash flowing.

Speaking of toxic waste, I also hate the council decision to start charging to dump stuff meaning most just find 'alternative' options. All the good living folk from the nice places doing their spring cleaning have decided the back of our estate and the sports fields make the perfect landfill site. Obviously the landfilling part happens later but on the bright side, its saving lots of money fer those poor cash strapped merc driving fly tippers ^

Well mate, I feel sorry for what happened to you and your family. Without going into details, I would say that in general I avoid authorities like the plague.
Funny to say that, as I spent most of my life serving in the military just to plan my retirement away from everything and everybody, unfortunately life dragged me back and here I'm with a leg in 3 countries and a job I can't escape from.... but yeah, the establishment sucks, and I say that as a part of it unfortunately.

Keep trucking, and I see you on the funny pages :)
