listening post guide

found a listening post in Maia, though judging from search it seems to have already been found.

just to know what to do in the future if I found one, wanted to follow it along.

scanned it, and got a message from a maintenance team, with the last bit saying they were sending the data to a network station in electra. went there and found a communication hub zeta 12.

went there and scanned two satelites but they just gave me engineering data.

from what I understand is that you are suppose to follow a trail of some sort until you get a garbled message containing fragments of data. these fragments give you a path to find a lost megaship.

is this correct, or did I do something wrong?

slight update, did find a log of some sort, suggesting that something may be in a beacon outside the station, is that one of the satellites?

so I found 4 logs dotted around the station in ship uplink ports, saying that a guy decoded the signal sent to them, talked to superiors about it possibly being alien, and then some hired guns turning up to take control of the station. the last message said that the guy would hide the data in a beacon outside and it would broadcast at 10 minutes past the hour. was definetly sat on one of the satellites at that point, and maybe got to the second in time, but neither gave me anything more than engineering data.

do I need to try the second satellite again, or maybe the uplink ports?

any help would be appreciated

Edit: Today after the Patch went there but still no numbers mentioned in technicians logs.

well that's typical, first listening post I find and its bugged out.

what would normally be the way to go from here, the last log said the data would be in a beacon outside at 10 minutes past the hour. is that the satellites, the uplinks, the nav beacon, or something else that isn't showing? went back earlier to check the second satellite and both were gone.
