So, my prior exploration excursion only went out about 600 Ly from the edge of what I though was inhabited space (as defined by filtering stars based on Allegiance in the Galaxy Map).
Out there I was still seeing (fairly consistently) USS and WSS. On the odd occasion I would drop into one, it was either a group of pirates (whom I graciously allowed to live as my exploration cobra had no weapons to help explain to them the errors of their ways), or a bunch of litter in the form of prototype tech, toxic waste, military plans, etc...
So my question is - am I going to have to do some trash removal (of both sorts) when I go on lengthy journeys, or was I just not quite "far enough" from occupied space for it to count as real exploration?
