Little encounter

I had just jumped into the HIP 10716 system from Wu Guinagi with a passel of courier missions (1 of which was a Naval mission.) As I appear in the system an NPC tells me he is glad to see me blah blah blah. I knew I was going to get interdicted on my way to Van Royen Vision, no big deal. He interdicts me, I let him and boost away. He never touches me. As soon as I'm back in SC another NPC says hi! and then another! Now I have 3 NPC's all out to get my cargo and/or trying to kill me. So I spend the rest of the 1,200ls trip getting interdicted over a dozen times. Sometimes by 2 NPCs at once! Talk about aggravating. I did end up taking some damage but it was because I was interdicted by one and then before that bit is ended, another and it caused me to crash out of SC.

What a bother! LOL I did get to the station and turned in my missions. I'm now a Duke with the Empire!

Just thought I would share my little encounter with you all! :D

Just be thankful they don't squawk over the voice comms. Three AI all trying to talk over each other. It was worse when running long range missions; a dozen people all desperate to be your bestest best friends. :)

Stacking missions is like playing stupid games.

We all know what happens when you play stupid games....

My experience is, if I'm getting chain interdicted, jumping to the closest system and back in reduces the chances it happening again. So, after I escape from an interdiction, the moment I'm interdicted again I set a target and submit. The only downside happens if the destination is too far away from the main star of the system as you'll have to start again.

Another way to minimize interdictions is to target the station to learn where it is and then fly at an angle without slowing down, overshooting wide on purpose and coming in from the other side. Most interdictions happen either as you are accelerating right at the star or when you are slowing down for approach.

.. will never get why people quite enjoy being just so offended at others exercising freedom of choice. I'm just going to have to respond with the below each time now.

Stacking missions is the fastest way to get what I want: a Cutter. Besides, when the missions page gives you 8 missions per person listed..... it's kinda hard NOT to take them all!:D

I didn't hear any voices from them, but they were spamming the crap out my chat. Both direct and local channel. It was a bit irritating to say the least.
