little trick for plotting a route to a station

For those who don't know it:

Select Map Mode "commodity" in the GalMap
Select the system you want to travel to.
Now you can select the market and plot a route directly to that market - station.

Very useful even for non-traders.

No need to select system and them select system map and then the station.

Yea, I know I'm the last one to realize it and everybody is doing this since 3.0. :)

It's definitely a nice little QoL addition, saving a couple clicks when going from place to place instead of having to select the destination from the System Map or the nav panel.

Even better, the same contextual menu in the galmap also has an "add market to commodity list" button on the far right that makes the selected destination available to compare prices while on the commodity list itself.

So if you pick up a mission somewhere, you can select the destination station/port on the map directly which is cool, but then you can quickly pop open the commodity list and click on the right hand column for a quick readout of what commodities are selling for at your destination.*

*Unfortunately I've found the commodity prices and availability are not 100% accurate, even if you've recently visited the place or bought the trade data. :( The prices can be off a couple hundred cr/ton, and not all commodities seem to get tracked. The market connector and EDDB seem to be much more reliable. Still, if you play in VR and don't want have to take off the HMD or just want to load up with something fast it's a handy option. It would rock if it could be relied upon 100% of the time, though...
