Little useful(less) information on le Super Cruise

After several jump star to star my Lakon T6 starting to seriously overheat. So I stayed seated in super-cruise aligned towards my future distant destination, a small star 5 light years away, just to leave my ship refresh a few minutes.

Over time a question came to me, what could be le maximum attainable speed in SC ? So I waited for my Lakon continues to accelerate and I waited a long time...

But I finally reach speeds of 2001 times the speed of la light.

Nice find... there's no proof it's from the movie but I'm happy to go with the assumption.

BTW if you're waiting for your T6 to cool down after a jump you're better off dropping to normal flight. It won't cool down any faster, but you can't be interdicted from normal space. If you want to go to the loo/make coffee etc drop to normal space and turn off all your modules except life support, you'll be invisible to scanners and uninterdictable... so short of someone bumping into you noone should be able to find you.

Maybe the maximum sped depends on the type of ship.

Going into the Galactic map may have a similar effect for being invisible as you no longer get any info from your ship and your ship goes to zero velocity which is probably easier to do than turning everything off.
