LIVE PS4 pro gameplay

From what i've seen so far, it looks smooth.
But then again, he's playing on a monitor and some monitors have anti-screen tearing solutions (G-Sync and whatnot) that take care of any issues that arise.
So far so good, and the game looks lovely.

Edit: Nevermind, as soon as he moved the SRV around, tearing showed it's ugly head, lol.
The game doesn't like fast motions for some reason.
But tearing issues aside, the game looks great on a PS4 Pro.

Cheers for the link.

One major graphical difference between this version and the PC version. Can you spot it?

Watching this... Okay, somebody put me a Chuck Noris sleeper hold and knock me out until Monday 11:59 PM!!!

Perhaps we will have the possibility to play ED in training mode for those who have pre-ordered the game all ready , because for example on PS4 the downloading of the game should normally start this night at 00:00 hope we can and tear us a river of happiness or cry from the tearing on screen while playing .

I personally would prefer 30 FPS fixed without tearing than 40-50 variable FPS with tearing. As I understand it, with vsync on, you'll get framerates that evenly divide into 60, so 60, 30, 20. You'd only get 20 if you drop below 30, so again, I'd rather have 20 fps non-tearing than 28 fps tearing. NOTE - it should be very rare that FPS drop below 30!

"Personally" is a key word here, because SpacePigeon rather have the extra FPS and deal with the tearing. Since it is a personal preference, FDev should provide a vsync option in the graphics menu for both vanilla and Pro PS4, if it's needed.

But, as everyone has mentioned, we don't see this problem in other games (none that I play at least), nor on the XBox, so I suppose this entire post of mine is a candle in the wind.... Assuming FDev can fix this, of course..

Mi point is: if we have a sub 30 fps on PS4 standard, then it's better to disable V-Sync and have the extra framerate boost. Otherwise the game will have problems way much worse than tearing. Using common sense, i'm assuming that devs have disabled V-Sync just because the framerate wasn't good enough to ensure a smooth experience. And I agree with you, 30 fps locked is better than a higher framerate which goes up and down. From what i heard during the stream, the framerate is unlocked and it will change depending on the situation. So probably it wasn't possible to have a locked 30 fps with V-Sync.

It looks mighty good to me. But a question about the tearing issue: will the special 'video game' setting on my tv solve the problem eventually?

If setting it to the "Video Game" setting doesn't do it, you can mess with the individual settings - I'd be looking at anything like Sony's "Motionflow" settings, etc
