Livery question

Please forgive the stupid question. I splurged on 1000 Frontier points to customize some ships I have in the hangar. My first purchase, spent 200 points on a name plate. The 200 points were deducted from the total leaving 800 points balance, which I can see.
The problem is I don't see the name plate I bought. When I highlit the one I chose the tab appears to want me to buy it agan- what am I doing wrong here ?

The grey ones in the picture are ones you own and can apply. Looks like you got them to me?

It does take a few minutes after purchase for them to become available, so if something you buy doesn't become available right away, be a little patient.

Sounds like you're on XB1 as you mentioned Frontier Points. I start the game to use the menus to buy points and go to the store to make a purchase, then I quit the game. After purchasing vanity item(s), I start the game again. I've never had a problem finding new purchases available in-game using this method.
