Livery through Systems Panel

When we are at a really long voyage (like myself) or expedition through galaxy and do some shopping at Frontier Store, we are buying things we can't really equip our ship with. We must have Livery access allays, otherwise can spent weeks or a couple of months, or years without having the chance to use what we buy.
And is a not any incentive to spent money, traveling 25.000Ly or much more before be able to equip a new look.

I'm on my way around Galaxy, and should buy some Christmas stuff, but I'm about 2 or 3 weeks from Colonia (Livery), and therefore there be no Christmas gifts. And in outer space you can travel years without Livery option.
Livery through Systems Panel, should be included on a next game update.
I would appreciate some Christmas lights on my cockpit... before Christmas.

I also would like to see this option.

I know a few would want to to challenge that it would break immersion, but why should not people out in the void be able to change cosmetic stuff on their ships? we can already customize our CMDR and completely change appearance, so why not allow us the same for our ships, SRV and SLF.

The immersion is necessary, otherwise there's no gaming...but it's why I purpose it through Systems Panel. After all is how we do repairs on space, and repair system should handle livery changing. And is not necessary to loose any immersion. If someone can't imagine science and technology doing that, through, let's say, Materials Engineering, then The Mighty Creators of the Game at the Interstellar Command, should equip ships with a device, similar to a little space drone, or so, to execute livery changing, a kind of a small Goliath to do it and when we are landed on a planet still inside ship. I find this immersive.
Come on people, this is a good idea and if you are traveling to the borders of the Galaxy, jumping 17Ly each time like me, you will spent months away of any life signal. Should be able to land on a planet and do some alterations and to retouch or change ship painting and symbols.
A practical example; If I can go to store while gaming why can't I buy my Christmas lights and use them on my cockpit? If I had brought them from my home planet? I would not be able to equip them also.
