That was epic. Loving the sound filtering on chat!! That makes it for me. It would be even better if it simulated single sideband sound like the final battle in the original Star Wars.

Thought it was fun to watch, bit short on atmosphere (unlike 'other' Fanfests), thought the presenters did a brilliant job, climax was a big ship...sure they'll get better but pretty slick for a first go.

Pretty cool. Have to wonder how this will play out in the game. I mean, are these just new mechanics added to the conflict zones we already know about or can we expect these sorts of random encounters to happen in the rest of the game world? In either case, I like what I'm seeing.

Well, the only thing they showed we havent seen to this date was a capital empire ship jumping in after the player killed a Clipper. Nothingelse.

Apart from that, massive talk about how great and awesome everything is as usual.

It would have be awesome if they'd revealed a Thargoid but what they did reveal was pretty good as well

The live stream was well produced. But had almost nothing worth watching apart from the black cloud event right near the end, and of course seeing Kate Russell. And it was a very short live event. The audio books sound like they are worth getting. Personally I think they should of had Kate Russell do the presenting.

I think people need to remember that this kind of reveal, imo at least, isn't targeted at us, the current backers. Much of it wasn't new to us, but may well be new to people who have not yet gotten into the game or hadn't heard of it. I think it was pretty good if you look at it from the point of view of a newcomer to Elite: Dangerous. Had info on what the game was (although not as much I would have liked to see) so useful for new players or people who hadn't yet decided and still had some new stuff for us backers at the end as a climax. For us backers you have to remember the 'reveal' has been going on for some months now.......
