Both have class 4 power plants. And I have no idea why the Courier doesn't have the class 4 thrusters it deserves.

Interdictor is the name of the Imperial Capital ship, so is already in the game (just not player controlled).

Im sure other people will cover the stats, What I notice however is that when you are landed in the station the bottom engines have rotated downwards, is this a sign that it's meant for planetary take off and landings?

She feels quite manoeuvrable and the 4 gun slots are very well grouped tight in along the centre line which makes it easy to hit small close targets.

Possibly designed to work well in atmospheric dogfights?

I beg your pardon but Diamondback is only faster than Viper on boost speed. Normal speed is a quite inferior: 283 vs 320. The difference is even bigger between both ship boost speeds: 384 (Diamondback) vs 380 (Viper).

The courier's greatest strength is that it's a fast and durable ship. These stats are great for its price point.

Nothing else is in my opinion.
