This seems to be a problem between Steam and Frontier. Looking at my partner keys in my Frontier account I see all the ED keys, ED, ED Horizons, ED Arena, ED Oculus, but no Odyssey.
If the launcher refuses to function correctly it may be caused by potential file errors or installation problems by removing and re-installing the launcher.
Uninstall the launcher from your computer using Programs and Features in Windows (or Steam).
Delete any files from where the launcher was installed. If the following folders exist, delete them:
If you purchased the game on Steam or the Epic Games Store, please redownload it from the platform directly.
If you purchased the game from the Frontier Store, please download the launcher from here.
Install the launcher as normal (do notrun the installer as an administrator - it will ask for an administrator password automatically, if necessary.)
Some players find that installing the game to a custom location is beneficial, for example, C:\Games\EliteDangerous.
Use the launcher as normal to install Elite Dangerous.
REPAIR/REINSTALL MICROSOFT .NET
If the launcher is unable to run or is encountering regular errors preventing it from working normally, you may need to re-install Microsoft .NET. Hello, above video and information seems not related to the issue since the load failed appear when clicking "continue" not on the launcher level. Restarting my computer and changing language via option in the launcher then trying again to enter the game just solved the issue for me. Not sure if teh language change has anything to do with that (i just did it to check if error message was different in french to discuss it with my community...). I hope it can still help.
Had the same last night, couldn't log in again after 10+ tries. The only thing that worked was logging into Horizons. So, I guess I'm lucky that I only lost all of my missions
Patch week... so after that I'm gonna just take it easy.
Just logged in to Horizon, no problem. At least my account is still there.
Yesterday, I was in a gun fight and lost, so when the "revive" menu came up, I picked the option to exit the program (dinner time), so when I started horizons I got the "rebuy" screen. I wonder if that had anything to do with it. Playing a bit in horizons now, and then I'll exit and restart in Odyssey to see if it fixed it.
Ok, so after playing in Horizons for a little bit. Flew to another system and landed on a station, exited the game, restarted in Odyssey, and now it loaded fine.
