Proposal Discussion Loading Screen Music Sounds So Familar

You know when your waiting for your game to load and you see either the spinning hologram of a SideWinder or Cobra Mark Three and hear this new piece of music that has been written for the game.

I'm quite used to it now, and it's stays in my head, but

- I have been thinking long and hard if I should even bring this up-

There is part of this instrumental theme...I think it is the chorus... that sounds almost like it's been taken from the original War-Hammer 40K : Dawn of War - Introduction Movie

It's the bit that follows from 1.36 onwards.

Listen to it hear for yourself and decide if you agree.

Please don't crititize me if you think I'm totally wrong and/or trying to get Frontier Forums in trouble.

I think it would need sound like the entire piece of music completely before it would be a copyright infringement.

BTW, I was totally unable to find any video with the ED : Loading Screen Music. Although you should all know it off by heart by now.

it shares some similarity with the piece you've posted but not that much TBH, i think its just a case of similar instruments more than anything.

maybe the author of the ED music was inspired by it? who knows.

and i wouldn't worry about criticism too much, we attack the idea not the person around here - we save that for in game
