Locations in the planetary info panel.

Does anyone know, what the "locations" stands for? It's always none.

If you ever find a "locations" field that's not "none" in a previously undiscovered system, you have hit the explorer's jackpot!

Most definitely go there, scan the planet, visit the point of interest (take screenshots), go turn in your exploration data to universal cartographics, and then report it here.

Edit: And to be clear, in case you are not familiar with it: "Previously undiscovered" does not mean undiscovered by you, but undiscovered by anybody. Usually you can discern this by "honking" when you arrive in the system, noting the number of stellar bodies that it reports, and then checking the system map: If there are less bodies than that number, it means there are some that have never been discovered before, by anybody. Use the FSS scanner to discover them (this also displays the "locations" number directly). Another good indication is if a planet/moon does not have a discoverer's name, although this is the case only outside the bubble. But if you get your name on it, then you discovered it first.
