Lock on sensitive friendly fire.

So I am writing to you from a pretty dark place. I finally saved up enough to get a python. I had rebuy and everything at first but after a few mistakes I was in that dreaded place with 2m cr to payoff to my creditor.

So I went to go do hirez bounty hunting cuz I thought 'lots of cops, I'll only hit easy targets, I'll get up to rebuy in nontime' If only I were so lucky.

About an hour in and I spot a wing of 3 wanted sidewinders and of course, a sidewinder being literally a 10 second kill for me, went for the strike. A single stray stream of multicannon bullets hits a npc hunter and EVERY ship starts KILLING ME. No time to even react. Less than 15 seconds later I was blown up and lost everything. Down to a sidewinder and a thousand credits.

This shouldnt happen. It's broken as hell.

I barely graze some tool who's stupidly flying near someone whos getting shot at, and I get the death penalty? Thats ridiculous.

I'm sure you've heard it all before but I have a suggestion that could work. If a ship that takes damage from you is not the ship you were locked onto when you fired your weapon, you gain a fine. You continue stacking fines if it reoccurs until you hit a (relatively low) cieling at which point it is assumed your actions are intentional and you gain a bounty.

I lost ALOT from this mechanic. Starting over is gonna be hell, but I like this game alot, and I want it to be the best it can possibly be.
