Anyone else been in an anarchy system in lockdown by the ruling (criminal) faction and thought it's all a bit weird?
I'm in a system ruled by an independent criminal faction, who is in a state of lockdown. A bit of background, I used to dump my illegal goods (and pick up illegal goods) for the system I work in, and I also took to, well, getting on the wrong side of this faction recently, taking out pirate ships for bounties and generally being a nusiance (trying to improve Imperial influence in the system).
So now the system is in lockdown, there's checkpoints, fair enough, and System Authority Vessels interdicting me and scanning me (SAV is a bit weird for criminals who've never cared about enforcing law to date, but whatever). But then one of these SAV's (belonging to said criminal faction) scans me, finding stolen imperial slaves (from a recent victim), and surprisingly fines me! 10k credit fine issued by some pirates, for having stolen goods on board. Oh the irony.
I don't really care about the fine, I'm stirring the pot here anyway, but I guess the point of a "Lockdown" state is to try and improve security in the system,, but the whole thing feels a bit nonsensical when it's being enforced by none other than pirates...
