Lockdowns in Legacy Colonia Bridge systems?

I decided yesterday to embark upon a journey I'd been thinking of doing for ages - taking my carrier out to Colonia. (I've been out before but this is the first time to take my own carrier.)

I filled up with a decent quantity of tritium but, remembering the expansion of stations and megaships that community goals worked on to expand a wee while back, decided to be smart and make a couple of stops on the way to top up.

I stopped off at Vladmir McDoogle's Triumph in Flyiedge VN-W c4-51 and Cannon Complex in Prua Phoe MI-B b17-5.

Both systems are in lockdown and I haven't been able to purchase any tritium - or do anything else for that matter.

Any idea why these systems are like this? Both had a single Asp Explorer in their traffic reports so not like there's a lot of activity.

Lock down trigger due to criminal actions lots... AKA Ganking via humans or AI civs being killed... Stolen goods on black markets. real Pirates dont kill unless you refuse payments and demands...
So some one put the controlling faction into security negative states likely by killing civs that fly that faction ships..

Killing criminals increases security and would remove lock down as does any mission with security related bonus if the mission board was to work...
3.8 is still shared with PC players so they could gank/kill still.

Yeah, so it seems someone (some people) have done this deliberately?

The two systems in question are the two with the largest tritium supplies this far out, seems unlikely that's a coincidence. If so it's a pretty low move knocking out trit supplies. I mean I'll make it out OK but if I'd known this was the case I would def have put more in the tank before leaving the Bubble.

Deliberate Lockdown is possible but probably not the most likely cause.

For some reason [1] these systems tend to get the negative event states - Blight, Infrastructure Failure, Terrorism, etc. - fairly regularly. These states often directly harm the security slider and can push it down to Lockdown ... and then how many explorers are going to go bounty hunting at CB-xx to counteract that? ... so it can stick around for a while.

[1] I'd guess that they don't get much in the way of a "normal" system's stabilising transactions - it's going to be Tritium purchases and Exploration sales and that's about it - but still have enough activity that events get set off, so the events tend to be fairly negative.

I have been to 3 stations on the Highway/Bridge so far —travelling the route in a Phantom—and each one has been Civil Unrest at best. Hafen't hit one locked down as yet. Thanks for the heads up though as McDoogle's was on my list of potential stops.

The Station Contacts is available but that's it - no refuel, repair, restock even.

Not even these - both the market and cartographics were unavailable. I guess that means these systems can easily get "stuck" on lockdown then?
Yes - bounty hunting is the only real way to clear it quickly once it starts. It'll eventually wear off on its own but that can take a while.
