locked destination in radar

I was wondering (can't find it) is there a possibility to show the locked planet or place you want to go in the round radar.
I lock a destination and have to make silly turns with my ship to search for a red cirkel in the sky. You can't see the direction anywhere or do I miss something?

Use the compass (circular thing just above the speedo).

To the right of the scanner where you see the other ships is a crosshair.

In that is a yellow rectangle or a yellow thin line. That shows you. A thin line means behind, thick rectangle in front. It's position is the relative position of your navigation lock.

The small compass up and to the right of the scanners does this. Thick yellow bar, you're facing it, thin yellow bar, it's behind you. When it's centered it's either directly ahead or behind
