Log Flume Graphics Comparison (Planco 1 vs 2)

Yep, it is that ugly. And the water coaster have almost no sound.
And the wide log flume have slightly better physics but is as ugly.
and the Rapids are a shame.
Water rides needs a serious update. They are the Hughest miss on the rides side in this sequel.

One of the very first rides I built. So unhappy how the log flume looks now. The water looks terrible. :-(

I say this with a heavy heart as I dont want to be negative because I love the game...

But unfortunatly I have to agree Planet Coaster 2 looks like the Alpha version of Planet coaster 1 when it comes to the log flume. I really wonder why both the graphics and the physics have been degraded so much. I love how the Planco 1 log "dances" on the water, gently wobbling back and forth. The Planco 2 log looks like a regular coaster, moving in a straight line ignoring the waves in the water.

The strange thing is, altough we are 7 years into the future I dont expect much graphic improvement because it was looking very good already and it all suited the game. I didn't expect to take a step back from what we had 7 years ago. I fully agree this needs to change (back to how it was).

would be cool if Frontier would give us an explanation WHY they made 3 steps back ... i mean cmon you can see clearly the graphics looking soo bad even the ground textures :D

i dont want to hate PC2 but at the moment ... sry its not the right way

Because they were listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd and took the gimme 3 steps song literally
