Log Flume Overhaul - Suggestions

Dear Frontier Dev. Team

The log flumes and water rides haven't really seen an update in Planco 2. I'd love to see additional track pieces added to the log flumes (and other water rides) to allow for more customization when it comes to building layouts.

Here is (my personal) list of issues:
  • The prefab entries into the splashdowns are very tight and you are forced to enter at a certain angle (and you can't change the angle of the drop sections).

  • It's impossible to go directly from a lifthill into a drop without having a smooth transition in between.

Here are some suggestions as to how it could be improved (respectively what track pieces could be added to improve the building process).
Visualizations were made in Planco 1.

  • Add free-form lifthill pieces which indicate the start and end of a lifthill section.

  • Add a "drop" track piece, which acts like a regular coaster track section (or it could be the track that's already used for the drops but free-form).

  • Add a short and straight (maybe 2m?) transitional piece to transition between the "drop" track pieces and the splashdown sections.

enjoy my drawing :)

Thanks for your consideration and your efforts. I really hope an overhaul for the water rides will eventually be done.
Best regards,

The logs aren't good as well... The front part is that high that the peeps just can look against it instead of what's in front of the logs.

The most awful thing beside the ugly water in drops and the missing of real water splashs is the mentioned lifthill-drop issue. It was a shame in PC1 and nothing happened to it...

Haven't tried to place the log rotation piece yet, but the filled square basin is really ugly.
Can it release the logs backwards?

I'm missing the small station drop at start and the mini lift to the station at the end since building my first log flume in PC1.

For PC2's evolution I was even hoping for in ground and in water concrete tracks, realistic splash track pieces (not that ugly basin), rotating station, water outlets at the begin of lifthills and water level specific speeds (high = slow, low = fast)...

I had a quick view at the water coaster... I don't understand the special pieces to rotate the boat. There is one where the boat is just rolling through without any rotation. It would be easy to let the boat release backwards, but just forwards is possible... Why?
