Description
Wherever in a real theme park, guests start to board the vehicules or trains as soons as the ones inside are off. I explain, a lot of time is lost to wait for the people to exit the whole station. In fact as soon as they passed the sliding doors, people getting in the ride should already start to board. We are then losing a lot of precious time and augmenting the waiting lines for nothing. A good example is the boat ride of the Silversmith manor in the career play mode. I don´t know if it´s considered as a bug but it´s not logical at all.

2 people are getting off the train
3 people are exiting the station
( lot of time lost )
4 people are free to access the train
 
This has been brought up many times since the game came out. Don't think they're going to change it. Maybe it has something to do with the coding for the game and it's impossible? No idea but don't get your hopes up for a fix or it would have been done so over a year ago. :(
 
I brought this up during Alpha and the response back then was about the guest AI and pathfinding. There has to be a definitive stop and logical approach to the loading in order to not confuse the AI with what path is acceptable and not.

For example (this may not be the exact definitive, but gives you an idea), there has to be a clear and defined set of rules for a ride loading:
Train arrives
Entrance Gate shuts
Exit Gate Open
Restraints Open
Guests Exit
Exit Gate closes
Station Gates Open
Station Gates Close
Restraints Close
Entrance Gate Close
Train Leaves

Each one of these is set to a code and each one of these has a clearly defined start and end, none of them can overlap. Add in a mechanic arriving to inspect the ride and you need to add:
Entrance close
Exit open
Mechanic entry
Exit close
Mechanic workflow
Exit open
Mechanic Exit
Exit close
Mark Workflow as complete
Entrance Open


Sadly, with this kind of requirement, we will not see simultaneous load and unload, which is a blight of the game - especially when it comes to the track rides that only have 4 per car. The throughput of these is so low and the demand / prestige so high that it's almost not worth having them in the game as they cripple the park you're building.

It's one of my 2 biggest complaints with the game (that and the fact that guests in long queues cause an FPS drop of up to 50%, but that's a different topic)
