Login Error/Purchase message

So I have been playing Elite Dangerous for about 3 days now. I purchased this game on sale from Steam and I am loving it! However, today when I go to login to the game through Steam, it has me log into the launcher. When I do this it is giving me an error that say's I must purchase the game. I checked my Frontier account and it is linked to my Steam account. I can not get in contact with Frontier support because they do not have one (of course, fml) so I have no idea what to do. I have restarted my computer, cleared whatever cache I could. idk what to do.

I have the same issue with the launcher. The only solution I found to fix this problem is:

1- Close the launcher
2- Go to this site: https://user.frontierstore.net/
3- Log with STEAM
4- Check that the game is linked (but you will see that it is)
5- close STEAM completely and launch it again.
7- Start the launcher and normally the game is well linked and you can launch the game.

After finding the solution to my problem I contacted frontier support to talk about this problem and the answer is: basically they know but still haven't found the reason and are still looking.

The solution they offered me is identical to the one I used personally.
