Login Failure

So i just want to open normally Elite dangerous from steam and when the game launches it tells me Error while logging in and when i press continue double login. Please try again in a few minutes. Does anyone know how i fix this? I dont have a transfer or anything.

I was in Steam library and then u get the Elite Dangerous launcher. I press play and a Elite Dangerous Executeable comes in some seconds after the intro it says cant login we have signed u out and cant connect ur account is currently not avaible.

Can you log in to your fronierstore.net account? If so, try launch from steam again and see if that works. Has it ever worked? Have you done the validation thingie?

btw - I am not FD, you only get player help on here. FD help is via their support site - they are really good (but probably very busy today).

I've just tried to log in to the game today, and I get to the verifcation stage, where it sends out a code to my email address, and when I enter it into the box I get a big red message, all severe and everything, telling me to purchase the game! What gives? I've been playing it for a year! x

A common cause (one that I fell for myself) is using the incorrect account and / or email address.
