Logitech G940 button lights program

Logitech G940 button lights program - try it

Hi all,
I thought G940 users might like to see this link if they are unaware of it (I was until Monday!)

http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Logitech-G-Controllers/Released-Manual-G940-Lights-Program/td-p/425222

A small and very easy to configure program to 'animate' the button lights on a G940 throttle base. I use it to add a little colour to buttons I use for the landing gear, scoop, silent running, etc.

For example, it's easy to set up a button for gear that show green when deployed, red when retracted and amber for a period while it is transitioning.

It's 'dumb' in that there is no active connection between ED and the program, so it's possible to get out of sync, but I only ever save and quit whilst docked , so it always loads correctly.

Cheers,
Gareth

Perhaps this should have a [Features Request] thread so it can be done natively.
I don't think any program has used them to date that I own, but could be wrong.

Malware ?

Hi,

when i use this Malwarebytes gets me an Alarm "Backdoor.NetCat" found!

Anyone else have some worries using it?

One fatal flaw

The profile select/reset key is bound to "S3" on the joystick and cannot be changed. I use every button on joystick for flight controls and already have S3 mapped (menu tab right and Next Fire Group). Plus having a "reset" key right at thumb access mean if I hit it by mistake the lights go out of sync.

I am going to dig around for an answer but if anybody out there knows how to remap the Profile Select from "S3" on the joystick to any keyboard button please let me know.
