Logitech Wingman Force 3D/Buy game now?

I been looking in these forums now and them and I think I may be ready to fork out some cash and buy the game. I have a few questions:

Anyone know how long till beta ends or have any idea about? Just trying to figure if I should get the beta access version of the game for 75$ or just pre order the mercenary version for 50$.

Does the beta version just let me "play now" compared to the mercenary version or will it include other goodies...seems I read something about some hidden goodies or something..sol access?

I have an old wingman force 3d by logitech.. does anyone use this to play this game or know if it works with ED?

yes old joysticks works, i use an old logitech wingman too.

but for your questions the mercenary pack is the release game + a bonus, so no you wouldnt have been able to play it.

but in any ways paying the beta you get the release ggame + mercernary pack ( i guess, is it ? )

Gamma is scheduled for 11/22 me think. Official release date should be announced next Friday according to newsletter #47.

Mercenary pack I think is just an add-on, maybe I am wrong.

Coming in Beta, you get the Mercenary pack at Release, and probably some other goodies.

I don't know about the Force 3D, but I use the Wingman just fine, along a CH Throttle Pro and Nostromo keypad and Razer Naga mouse. The CH throttle is the only thing I bought because of ED.

Hey thanks for the replies guys

Yeah so my wingman force 3d is working minus the force feedback, no biggie, now I need to figure out a good control scheme. Trader Pat I would be curious to see a template of your controls since we have the same joystick and I also have a naga mouse.

I do not have a throttle though so I am using the little throttle at the base of my wingman.

have it set to forward only. Started out with the generic controller set up.
