Loitered at pad (talking to wife) couldn’t escape, destroyed,my 800 credit Trespass accident =$450K

Used Galaxy map to search for Interstellar taxation/payment Center.
None near Deciat show up.
Finished engineering second FSD, couldn’t put original one back in out of storage I just put it into.
Paid 250,000 credits to ‘clean’ it.
Loitered at pad while talking to wife, tried to escape- warning: shield generator attack- destroyed, respawn back at detention center. Borrowed 100,000 credits it seems to pay the 450,000 credits rebuy - what happened to my insurance, who cares.

That was an 800 credit trespass bounty when I thought I could land at a planetfall base but was warned off but too slow to get out of the Huge Trespass Zone.
Could the galaxy map tell me the base was out of bounds before targeting, Frameshifting, arriving and then requesting docking.

Anyways, this is my second account for Exploration, so I’m going to have to do the Road to Riches for Sure now.

Not a good experience.
Crime and punishment changes are worse than Gankers
Cause you’re screwed in your own Private instance.

I can’t imagine recommending this sim to friends right now.
Yes, I’ll play but not pay.
Fixing it is not enough to get back into my wallet.
Let FDev learn to satisfy players again...

I was on a planet once on my down to Maia or some such, did my bit on the planet, back to ship. Made a cup of coffee to come back to the rebuy screen.
I learnt from that one, no risks, if you are not going to engage with the game, logout to main menu.

I am guessing you sort of already knew this.

This game doesn't care if you talk to the wife, pet the dog, get a snack, the house is on fire...If you snooze you lose. Thank goodness it was thousands instead of many millions. Regards.

Death by wife has been my #1 cause of in-game death. The game didn't come with a significant other (unless that was one of the kickstarter promises that I haven't heard of) so I'm not sure why your blaming Frontier.

Frontier needs to patch the game so that it detects when you are "Talking to Wife" and temporarily suspends the entire server and makes your ship indestructible. This is all their fault 100% and definitely the OP played no role in the outcome of this situation. Zero out of Five stars!

That is a lot of poor decisions in a row, leading up to a poor outcome.
