Lol god i hope that was an npc , or boy oh boy someones gonna be cryin on here soon lol
Ya know... I have been leaving my ship parked at these larger stations for extended periods the last few days while I tend to other issues here at the house, like Thunderstorms! 
Anyway... It seems the longer you leave your ship at one of these larger stations, the more WHACKY things seem to become inside the station in regards to NPC ships doing strange things and getting blown up by the station security. When I came back to resume playing my game last night after a rather impressive 2 hour long Thunderstorm, there were blown up ships floating EVERYWHERE! And as I sat there checking that out, I observed no less than four more NPC ships get the AXE!
If you have the time to hang about on a large station sometime, just set your watch to about an hour later and watch the fireworks begin!
