LOL Found another bug!

I have 1 Palladium in cargo.

In Commodities Market it has listed BUY and SELL for Palladium.

I wanted to buy one. It ONLY gives me the option to sell.

Oh, okay. So I go ahead and sell it, to see if it fixes the bug (I was going to just buy the palladium back) -- Nope! As soon as I sold it Palladium completely disappears from the market. Awesome.

The bug of the day (yesterday)"

Bought a 250k "Detailed Surface Scanner" -- I assumed it was "Basic Discovery Scanner" on steroids. Nope! Nothing in fire groups. Maybe it's something else and not actually a bug, I don't know, because it was still listed under modules. I was left in the dark and I had to go back and return it anyway.

One pirate in every single belt cluster? Really?

The Detailed Surface Scanner is a companion to a Discovery Scanner, not a replacement. You need both (if you are doing exploration and want the extra credits for the surface scans, that is).

That's usually because that particular station doesn't trade in Palladium. Stations buy anything from you at a very low price. If you do know that the station buys and sells Palladium then it sounds like a bug.

No, it had Palladium in stock. The option buy and sell was available. If it has a price listed under "buy" then it has it in stock. I click it -- it gives me the option to sell -- nothing else. So, I sold it. Boom, Palladium is wiped from the market.

Sorry but neither of these are bugs. A station is perfectly within its rights to buy from you and not sell. That would be like you selling me a bike and then wondering why I don't have one for sale.
Also, those scanners work together not seperately!

Okay, thanks for the explanation on the scanner.

About the station, I find that hard to believe. I think that's role-playing the bug.

I don't believe that the sentence I've highlighted is correct. I could be wrong, as I'm not logged in at present, but I'm pretty sure a station can advertise a buy price for commodities not in stock.

Just saw this other post. Sounds a little buggy.

Not sure on this, interested in knowing the answer!

Then it shouldn't have the option to buy it available. If there's a price under BUY for that commodity -- it's always been in stock. Why would they have a price under 'buy' if you can't buy it? To trick me?

I think the question is.
How many did they actually have in stock?
If it was none then they will still list prices for what you have in your cargo. Both buy and sell prices.

If you sell to a station that doesn't normally list the commodity and it then disappears after sale.
yeah that is a kind of bug and I believe its always been this way. I think?
