You can do it if you set around 80% throttle and when boosting do 3 sec on up thrusters then immediately 3 sec down thrusters to mitigate some of the boost. Gives about a half boost forward which starts slowing right away.

It is for these reasons that my Cutter is the only ship I have ever had that I use a DC on and I make no apologies for it.
Other than that I love it!
I would use it just for the classical music that plays...
I tried to land a fully loaded one at Ceres Tarn once. I did land it, just missed my pad by a few hundred metres. Then I tried a couple of times more but just bounced off the surface each time and at this point I gave up as my shields were getting low.
It's a great tool for gaining allied status with a large station owning fraction quickly or getting a fraction into boom status quickly. Also it is great for picking up multiple large haulage missions.
