So, how do report cyberbully in this swanky game then. Lol, I'm 43 and I have never seen such a farce in a game. Oh look, noo modular terminals, oh look gamkers, oh look my ship is overheating to 200 %, oh look all my controls have been hacked, the list goes on. Please troll underneath so I can have a good laugh and report it at work. Cheers

P.e. please check above post for spelling mistakes so you can troll that too.

You misspelled "gankers".

You're welcome.

Reporting cyber bullies? Exit to menu, report commander option.
No modular terminals? Run the right kinds of missions
Gankers? Block, PG or solo.
Ship overheating? Without more info, can't provide any advice.
Controls Hacked? Huh? Again, need more information.

(Yeah, I know, don't feed the troll...)

OP I don't get the point you are attempting to make. Your post has left me dazed and confused! Can you clarify?

Modular terminals are commodity rewards for missions. Kind of a crapshoot which ones since it's procedurally driven, but you'll need to choose missions that list "Commodities" in the list of rewards ahead of time. Do enough missions and you'll have more than you know what to do with. I think I sell about a dozen of these a day.

Hmm, "crap" isn't auto filtered by the swear filter. Interesting. And no, I don't intend on working that word into my forum vocabulary, I just spelled "crapshoot" the way I did because I needed to get around what I though would be an overzealous profanity filter to use an innocent gambling term.

What if he was referring to "game keepers"? Or even easier, "gamers"? Why it has to be "gankers" everytime!

I think this is about that "gamker" informing in a chat about general lack of modular terminals and his badly constructed ship resulting in overheating and control issues and the chat was a bit irksome. At least it's what I'm reading here.

What I'm trying to imply is that report a player is not enough. Say if I was into hacking. I took offence to the way you drive your ship say. I just constantly make your life a misery and I do not know what player is attacking me (in essence). How do I report such things. My limpets blow up as soon as they take stuff bac, I have had my controls wuiped twice. I have had my ship overheat to 220 degrees, and so on. This is what's happening in game. How can I report such things with the current set up. I can't. If I did, would anyone care. Recently a boy literally blew his head off because of such attacks. I'm 43 but do suffer a mental condition. How di I stop these seeming 'innocent' things happening in my game.

I just constantly make your life a misery and I do not know what player is attacking me (in essence). How do I report such things? My limpets blow up as soon as they take stuff back, I have had my controls wiped twice. I have had my ship overheat to 220 degrees, and so on. This is what's happening in the game. So I take it you are insinuating someone is messing with your account? Are you sure that is what is going on? It could be a coincidence but I'd submit a ticket just to be safe op

My limpets blow up as soon as they take stuff bac,

Working as intended.

I have had my controls wuiped twice.

Not sure about that but the lack of control save options is a valid complaint about the game itself.

I have had my ship overheat to 220 degrees, and so on.

Shield cell banks?
Rail guns?
Fuel scooping with hot loadout?

Well, it's just a video game.
I'm not sure you are being "attacked".
Some or all of those things you described could be normal.
If you are thinking of harming yourself please seek emergency medical attention.

Exploding limpet, control wipe, overheating can be explained. Nothing to do with an account being hacked.

I'd bug report the control wipe, although support will likely mention a USB issue, basically if the port or hub has any sort of surge while the game is running can result ina wipe, even plugging in a USB device can reset assignments, many of us have learnt the hard way. I exit the game if I need to change a controller, and back up my assignments in case of a surge

Controls being wiped might be a legitimate bug, which would warrant a bug report, and there's a forum for that.

Limpets will be good for only one use if you target a specific object before you fire it off. Instead, target nothing and the limpet will continue gathering things in its range before it reaches it's drop dead time or there's nothing left to gather.

Without knowing your build or the situation you were using it in, there's really no way someone can help. Fortunately, there's a website for showing us your build, and with a little supporting text, we can help you figure out why it's overheating.

The Elite community is pretty good about answering questions if you just ask. There's a small but vocal minority that says RTFM and slaps you with a calculus textbook, or is just completely unhelpful, but you learn to ignore it and separate the wheat from the chaff.

It may be that you are experienced unrelated issues, it is easy to see patterns where there are none. When in doubt, and it is difficult to use the report player function in-game, you can use the following ticket:

I dont think there is any hacking going on, but if you want to report it just to be safe you can use that link. :)

I'll add constant silent running to the list.

As to what player is attacking, there is "target nearest hostile" button ("H" can't remember if it's default or what I've configured). Or if they destroyed your ship already the rebuy screen lists this info. It also can be found in the game journal logs somewhere I believe.
