Really sorry guys, but a horrendous day of DIY has taken up way more time than expected, so I can't make it. Have fun without me!
I was there at 18:40 but saw no one, so I left...
Michael - sorry we missed you. 6.40 was around the time that I arrived as well and after taking a look around inside was grabbed outside by Dreamcaster. It probably didn't help that neither of us was wearing anything obviously Elite, and there were lots of people just leaving the game expo wearing gamer gear 
Next time we'll have to swap phone numbers ahead of time so we can better make contact.
The pub was pretty full and while we didn't get a table for 12 we did manage to grab one up on the first floor. Just the four of us in the end and we did have a good catch up. All were agreed that the best is yet to come in Elite
Hopefully we can get another session together, perhaps in November before the Xmas period kicks in...

Ι was wearing the Elite T shirt I got as a freebe at the pre-BAFTA exhibition thingy back in May. I hung around for about 10 mins but no joy...

I am really sorry to read that.
Before going upstairs and sitting at the table, I made sure that everyone of the staff knew where we were sitting and where to direct people looking for the 'Elite: Dangerous' group. Besides, HypoThermia and I kept checking this thread to see if anyone was coming.
I really hope you and other commanders will join us for the next meeting.
