I established this public access server a while back for new players in the Elite: Dangerous Reddit community, and I'd like to share it with you as well! We've got a good group of helpful people around from many time zones. Feel free to pop in and hang out while you cruise the stars!
Just open Teamspeak3 and connect to edreddit.ts.nfoservers.com. Guests will be confined to the lobby at first (troll prevention measure), but a member will move you to the main room in no time to join in on the fun! If you don't get noticed just send any of us a private message. We do occasionally get a bit distracted.
