Long and lat lines

Seeing as we have orbit lines how about having longitude and latitude lines on planets it would make it much easier to fly in much closer to the coords that you actually want and you will know that the edge of a particular crater is on a particular lat etc

Probably should be in the "orbit lines" toggle... but yes. Using those 2 little numbers to try to figure out where to go is... challenging and unintuitive.

My landings are either random, or on specific coordinates that crazy dedicated people have written down for the more important things.

I'd mostly like the ability to define a point on a planet, so it's highlighted, and I can fly in visually instead of using numbers.

have some rep OP. After getting into engineering and having to track down barnacle sites this would be a great help. Even better having an option on the planetary map that lets you punch in the LAT and LONG that then makes a waypoint on the surface would be even better.

Yes. Seconded. It would be great for navigation. Speaking only for myself (as the two posters above me would disagree), I'd rather have the lines than the direct coordinate waypoint. Lines of longitude and latitude would help us navigate without giving us the whole kit and kaboodle.
