Long range mission checklist

Is there anything I should do before setting off on a long range expedition, apart from making a will? I've maxed out all raw materials for synthesizing jump boosts, limpets, AFMS (which I have two of), and SRV repairs. I've maxed out the two manufactured materials for making basic heat sinks. I have an Artemis suit, a Guardian FSD booster, repair & refuel limpet controllers.

What else might I have forgotten...

If you're going for the kitchen sink approach
- lightweight plasma slug railgun in case you need to dump fuel more quickly
- research limpet controller to sample NSP lifeforms (or switch your current two out for a Rescue and a Xeno multi-controller for even more flexibility)
- SLF might be useful for getting closer to the scenery for screenshots or investigating the grumpier NSPs from a distance
- corrosion resistant cargo rack?
- manifest scanner in case you discover uncharted megaships (okay, it's happened twice ever but it'd be embarrassing to have to go back and fetch one if you found a third, right?)
