Engineers Long Range Sensor...in SC?

I just wanted to ask before I waste the mats...

Does the Long Range Sensor mod also do anything for when you are in SuperCruise?

I know the mod trades increased weight for around double the normal space sensor range. I don't really care about that though. I'm asking about when you are in super cruise exploring...is there anything that increases the range you can scan from?

If you mean the Detailed Surface Scanner, then yes it does. it'll start scanning at about twice the range of a vanilla when engineered to LVL5! if you mean Ships Sensors, as in the core internal module, i'm pretty sure it doesn't increases the range in SC, only when in "real" space!
