Ships Long range sniper Clipper?

Would a long range sniper Clipper work with 2 large LR gimballed beams and 2 medium LR rails? The beams have a range of 6km with no drop off as do the rails.

Nope. Not really.
Not with gimballed weapons. They wobble terribly. Basically at 3km you'll have a hard time hitting anything
And the medium slots are rather widely spaced for rails.

A turret has no visible woble and it will reliably hit ships at 5km away

I didn’t think fixed would work on the large slots, hence gimballed, but if turrets are better could try those. I wondered about the medium slots spacing, not the best sadly. I have a pair of rails I can try on a Clipper, will see how it works.
My wish for the Clipper would be a third centreline medium slot!
