Howdy, this is probably gonna be on the longer side, but I have been playing the game with some good consitancy since it was released. As the title states, I have been primarly been an No Limits 2 player since that came out, along with the RCT series before that. I have been actually quite enjoying the game despite some of the things that are still being worked out/talked about. I have noticed a handful of things I would love to see added to the game, and in my head, does not seem like it would be too hard to integrate. I am gonna try and organize this as much as possible. However, 3 disclaimers:

With all of these, an option to turn some of the options on or off, or to default or user defined might be helpful to make sure everyone has the experience they want. Hopefully it makes some sense, and if anyone knows how to do this already in game, let me know as I am still learning.
- I tried the orginial game a while after it came out, and was not happy with the coaster builder, nor the smoothing. The smoothing is thankfully fixed, and I am trying to force myself to learn the builder.
- I think some of my issues directly stem from being incredibly used to how NL2 (and for that matter, CAD programs) work.
- I know this is a game more than NL2 is, and obviously, more than like, autocad. I am trying to keep that in account for these suggestions to not sound too ridiculous or turn it into something it is not.
Snapping/move object suggestions:
- Add angle snap to match any object. For example, if I want to place a wall along a path, The wall will automatically snap to the same angle as the path. Similar to how shops snap to the edges of paths. This would be especially useful to have applied on every object in the game.
- Add custom height and snap intervals. Instead of having just the predetermined snap angles, I would like to be able to add custom intervals to that, and height snap. So I can do 10 degree rotations instead of 13.whatever it is.
- Snapping items back to the world 90 degree intervals when needed. This would be useful to bring something back to a "default" position after it is in a weird angle (adding user defined snaps would also do a fine job for this).
- Change which one of the nodes you are snapping to on a scenery piece. On supports there is one at either end, I would like to be able to use the other one sometimes, as it seems to help with putting down supports in the correct orientation.
- Waterslide connectors do not have nodes on them after removing supports. This would be greatly appreciated to be added.
- Roller coaster track connectors added later, do not have the ability to snap/align onto/into the track precisly. This seems a bit difficult but would be very nice to see added.
- The snap distance function seems to turn off after using it twice. I will probably report this as a bug but I am adding it here as well.
Coaster/Flume builder suggestions:
- On flumes, the ability to line up the endings, and get them evenly spaced apart would be huge for making things look more realistic. This is very similar to snapping to match an objects rotation.
- In additon to the last point, being able to place the ends of a flume down first would be another solution to this. And allow the starts to be moved around independantly of the ends (when not connected).
- An option to make a set of segments straight. to take guesswork out of if something is lined up. Two variants would be nice, a straight from top (to line up segments for a hill or something), and a normal straighten everything option. If you are familiar with NL2, the exact same as the straighten track options it has.
- Split segments in half, to add another piece of control if it is needed later down the line.
- Be able to adjust positon, and rotation of individual nodes on roller coaster tracks and flumes. So instead of having to select a whole segment, it can just be one node selected. With flumes, being able to adjust Y rotation on the nodes would help out a lot as well. I had an issue where I had a helix, at the lowest interval snap angle, but it was too steep. I wanted to keep the perfect circle, so i raised up segments after the fact. However, when I went to smooth, the orginal Y angle would not smooth out, and led to my flume going down, and then back up in the helix, which doesn't make sense.
- Be able to have angled block brake and station sections with no drive tires, and a "gravity release mode" like a lot of real rides.
- Being able to adjust the length of coaster stations easier. I find it is very confusing do to this currently and still do not have a grasp on it.
- Adjust flume runout lane length. I think this has been mentioned before but I hate how you can have a flume come off a huge mountain and just this tiny runout lane stops the guest. This feels like it would be a bit harder but would be nice to see.
UX suggestions -
- Ability to adjust where the item rotates from in advance move mode. As in, center, or either end of a an object.
- Keep color and scale of objects when clicking away, then coming back to it.
- Remember recent color choices from previous sessions.
- Ctrl z only undoing the last edit instead of the entire set of edits that was done. I have a hard time describing this one, but it seems to undo all scaling, color, and movements done in the span of time the activity was active.
- Escape key only works sometimes to get out of menus
- PLEASE remove the need to confirm basically everything. I want to be able to click away or hit escape and have my chnages saved. I know this is brought up with the color picker specficially, but I think this could be used everywhere in the game.
- A hotkey to switch to and from world and refrence axis in advanced move would be nice. I have not looked to see if one can be assigned, but hovering over the icon does not suggest there is one.
- Camera zoom, rotate, and pan, seem to behave not as expected in low areas/cramped areas. If my cursor is not over an object I do not want my zoom and rotate to be slower as if it was over it. If that makes sense.
Misc suggestions -
- The pneumatic coaster has really weird catwalks, and the catch car does not seem to park in the right spot. I do not know if this is how it was in the first game but it seemed really weird to me.
- Ability to make paths wider or narrower. This is mostly pertaining to wanting to make maintence stairs from a coasters station.
- Having the on ride camera be "locked" to one position. No look ahead, no shake, no nothing. Essentially a camera mounted POV either from a rider prespective or nose view. Again, the same as NL2.
- My most outlandish want with this game would to see a node based support system, how NL2 works with supports, implemented. Lining stuff up for custom supports just seems way harder than it needs to be here.
With all of these, an option to turn some of the options on or off, or to default or user defined might be helpful to make sure everyone has the experience they want. Hopefully it makes some sense, and if anyone knows how to do this already in game, let me know as I am still learning.
