General Gameplay Longer Dinosaur Sleep Cycles

Sleep Cycles on dinosaurs are too short. I timed the sleep cycles and they seem to be between 37-40 seconds.

I'm timing there sleep cycles when the dinosaurs are completely lying down and asleep. Not when the Sleeping action pops up.

A fair sleep cycle would 1 min to a 1 min 30 seconds

I know in sandbox mode you're able to change how long or short the day/night cycle is. Maybe the length of their nap could be proportional to whatever you set that option to?

No, that changes nothing as if it did then dinosaurs in Isla Pena would be more asleep than awake.

No really. When the alpha sleeps all the others with it sleep with one usually standing up. Even if it is solitary it isn't difficult to spot it sleeping.

Yea sleep cycle should be a about a min and a half long at least and shouldn't be random. When the day/night cycle is on, most dinos should sleep around 2/3rds of the night. Dinos like troodon and maybe dilo should sleep maybe a third to 2/3 of the day, being more active in the evening and at night. Sleeping should overall be more of a behavior, not just a random animation

It is impossible to have dinosaurs sleep during the night. if they were able to than your dinosaurs would stay asleep for all of Pena.

I love the idea that some dinosaurs are more nocturnal and other diurnal however I think it would be difficult to put this system in place ...
And I also find that their sleep sycle is much too short!
I think dinosaurs should also be able to lie down without sleeping

I agree, the sleeping is way too short right now.
