Yea, that's big distance. It took me near 10 minutes to travel 350,000 so I don't even want to know how long that trip would take.

Somewhere around 450.000-500.000 Ls - it was a star with few interesting planets. Took me about 15 minutes, IIRC.

What is the point of locating stations so far out? There are no significant price differences on trade items that would make the trip worthwhile.

You have not seen the rare item sold at this station? Took about 40mins to get there.

Make a note of some ruff times and distances I have done:

100,000ls = 10mins.
233,000ls = 11mins (Odd)
633,000ls = 18mins

I once did a bulletin board mission to Pinzon Dock in Dea Motrona. That was around 1,800,000 ls.
The bonus was I found my first rare goods for sale there - Motrona Experience Jelly.
I believe Hutton Orbital sells rare goods too but at 0.22 ly distance from the nav beacon I won't be going there anytime soon.

One of the rares around 39 Tauri is from the Geras system: Gerasian Gueuze Beer from Yurchikhin Port which is just over 1,000,000Ls.

Max allocation is 24T which is quite high for rares.
