Longest distance traveled in a system?

Kind OT, I think it does highlight the need for an extra mechanism to travel intersystem. Maybe every large station could have a "station beacon", and a superjump capability like the original Elite which can only be used above a certain SC speed.

I'd go for 29.3536404c for obvious reasons. Whooooosh.
 
Hutton orbital may be the furthest station, but if you want to scan the second star in Sigma Orionis you need to go 0.26LY
