I have no idea if he actually plays, but he has stated that he is a backer (and DB is a Star Citizen backer).

CR could only manage to play AC at the launch event with a gamepad and even then managed to crash and burn on the first attempt

Chris is using x52 pro, also he mentined many times that some of the features and little details he take from ED as inspiration and that he plays ED. I guess it goes both ways since there are some similar elements to both games. But which one is gonna be better we'll see in few years time.

It would be nice if that NPC had a habit of bouncing off asteroids and such.

This "npc" has been seen on several occasions. I always do my best to reduce it to so much space debris when ever possible.
