It may be something coming down the pipe some day, but I thought to throw this out there and see if we can't talk about something else for a while.
Ram Tah has given us some delightful missions, bugged though they have been, to research and learn about the Guardians.
I'm hideously curious to see Professor Palin take a note from Ram Tah's book, and cough up some deep research missions into the Thargoids. We've seen Thargoid facilities on planets, played with the equipment inside of them, but we still know relatively little about them.
These facilities are dotted with data points that currently give us some pretty generic messages about the nature of the structures and physical properties of them, but not a whole lot else.
I'm thinking it would be exceptionally cool to have some Ram Tah styled research missions to visit these places, scan up some data that is meaningful in regards to the Thargoids, and actually start learning some things about them - perhaps even leading to some level of understanding the Thargoid "star map".
Just me thinking though.
